Effective July 2011, our Reservation and Cancellation Policy is as follows: ALL reservations must be guaranteed in advance with a credit or debit card (MasterCard, VISA or Discover). All reservations require a per run deposit equal to the first night's boarding fee ($25 per night). Afternoon pick-ups (after 1:00pm) incur a $16 per dog day board fee. If a reservation is cancelled more than one month prior to the scheduled arrival date, the $25 deposit will be refunded. If a reservation is cancelled less than one month but more than two weeks prior to the scheduled arrival date, the $25 deposit will be applied to the customer's account to be used toward future services or retail purchases.
MAJOR HOLIDAYS: (including, but not limited to: New Year's, Feb/Apr School Vacations, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas): (a) Minimum stay is THREE nights. You may pick up your dog sooner, but the charge will still be for 3 nights. Rate is $25 per night (first dog); $21 per night (second dog). (b) There is a 14-day (2 week) minimum cancellation or change period. This means that if you cancel OR shorten your reservations (i.e. request "early pick-up") within 2 weeks of the holiday, you will be charged for your ENTIRE reservation as originally booked, unless we can fill the run, or kennel is not at capacity.
SUMMER/HOLIDAY: (SUMMER is defined as the period between Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend. HOLIDAY is defined as Martin Luther King, Presidents, and Columbus Day weekends.): (a) Minimum stay for WEEKEND reservations is TWO nights (Fri/Sat or Sat/ Sun nights). (b) There is a 4-day minimum cancellation/change policy. If you cancel OR shorten your reservations within 4 days of your arrival date, you will be charged for your ENTIRE reservation as originally booked, unless we can fill the run, or kennel is not at capacity.
OTHER/Off-Season Periods: (a) No minimum-stay requirements during the off-season, pending availability; (b) There is a 2-day minimum cancellation/change policy. If you cancel OR shorten your reservation within 2 days of your scheduled arrival date, you will be charged for your ENTIRE reservation as originally booked, unless we can fill the run, or the kennel is not at capacity. Please note: Due to high demand for our boarding services and an unmanageable increase in "no shows," changes in reservations, and last-minute cancellations, we have been forced to implement a reservation and cancellation policy. We appreciate your understanding regarding the necessity of this policy.
When our facilities are booked to their limit, we turn away business and have to disappoint our clients. Our minimum cancellation periods will allow us to offer your booked space to an alternate customer; in contrast, seldom are we able to fill a space when the reservation is cancelled within days of arrival time. Please understand that the staff is not authorized to approve exceptions to this policy.
