Meet Our Groomer: Sheralee Bailey

Regular grooming is an important part of your pet’s health. Grooming includes shampooing, drying, hair cutting, hair brushing, nail trimming, ear cleaning and tooth brushing. Not only will it make your dog clean and odor free, it also stimulates the blood supply to the skin, giving your pet a healthier and shinier coat.

The need for grooming is unique for every dog. The factors include: type of coat, the time of year, hair length, how often he gets dirty, diet, odor, shedding cycle, and skin problems. Some dogs need baths only a couple times year while others need weekly grooming. Bathing any dog every month or two is recommended, while some dogs will need more frequent visits to the groomer.

For dogs that shed a lot, proper nutrition and regular grooming can virtually eliminate the hair problem that's prevalent in your house and vehicle. Call us to schedule regular appointments to reduce your dog's shedding.

For the safety of all our guests we require that all pets entering Dog Star Canine have up to date proof of the following vaccinations:

For Dogs we require: Rabies, and DHLPP.
For Cats we require: Rabies and FVRCP.
We will accept blood titers showing acceptable levels of antibodies.
