Our goal at Dog Star Canine is to give you the skills you need to teach your dog or puppy to be polite and well behaved, both at home and in public.

Using Positive Reinforcement training (no more jerking, pulling, or painful choke collars) your best friend will quickly learn to sit, lie down, come, stay, and walk on leash without pulling.

We will explain how to humanely housetrain a puppy, how to replace unacceptable behaviors such as jumping on people, barging through doors, and possession guarding with good behavior, and how to supervise your dog, both in the house and outdoors, to insure his safety and well being.

If your dog is well behaved overall but has one or two behaviors that you would like to improve, Dog Star Canine offers private consultations to help you do a little fine tuning. (Please note: dogs with acute dog/dog or dog/people aggression problems will be referred elsewhere.)

Has your adult dog had previous training but seems to have forgotten a few things? If so, join one of Dog Star Canine’s adult dog refresher classes: old dogs can learn new tricks-it’s never too late!
